Touched By Love...4 Young Moms is a unique support group for teen and single young moms who are experiencing an "unplanned" pregnancy. Our desire is to minister to the whole person in meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs, thereby enabling them to become the best young mothers and individuals possible.
Touched By Love (TBL) is committed to building up the often damaged, low self-esteems of these young moms who often have experienced abuse in their lives. Over the course of time, because of the support and encouragement that is given, emotional healing takes place. YOUNG LIVES ARE IMPACTED, TRANSFORMED, AND CHANGED FOREVER.
A client once said, "TBL is a place where one comes for healing such as one would go to a hospital."
Touched By Love is a non-judgmental, nurturing ministry where the moms can develop friendships with other young mothers, and form relationships with the godly women who serve as Mentors. We are often invited to family events like baby showers, the births of their babies, baby dedications or baptisms, babies birthday parties, sometimes to the mothers high school graduations, and once in a while to some weddings! In addition, further help and encouragement is provided in mentoring opportunities when we take them to and from the meetings & to doctor appointments, provide some occasional babysitting, and help them register for college or career tech schools.
TBL includes activities including teaching parenting and life skills, spiritual development times, guest speakers and fun outings like trips to the beach, the pool or a park.
TBL encourages each mother to make good choices reminding them that each choice is always followed by a "consequence”. When a good choices is made "good" consequences will result. However, when a bad choice is made, a "bad" consequence is sure to follow.

My calling...
For several years I was on staff at a local Pregnancy Care Clinic serving as a Program Coordinator for women experiencing unplanned crisis pregnancies. However, the Lord eventually called me to start my own ministry to Teen & Single young Moms & their children and He gave birth to Touched By Love...4 Young Moms. For the past four years as overseer of this outreach to young mothers, I have mentored and worked with over 250 young girls in crisis pregnancies and their children. Working with young mothers is my passion and life's work. It is all to the Glory of God!
